It all started with a simple handshake and a spark of inspiration at the Career na Mimi event on May 30th. We crossed paths with the brilliant Manager from the People’s Bank of Zanzibar (PBZ). After a quick demo of what our ecosystem can do, things got very interesting. They saw the vision immediately, and right then and there, we knew a quick chat wasn't enough. We needed a proper link-up.

Fast forward to a thrilling Friday, and the Jambo Team officially touched down at the PBZ Bank headquarters for an exclusive, deep-dive showcase of the Kumbuka App. Our goal? To show one of the region’s most prestigious banks how to bin the old paper business cards and elevate their corporate networking into the digital age.

You can simply scan a QR code, or better yet, let the app detect nearby users who are ready to connect right on your screen. Boom! Connected. The PBZ team realized instantly that walking around with pockets full of paper business cards is officially a thing of the past.

The host generates a unique Space Code or QR Code, and when attendees join, everyone's digital cards are instantly accessible in a shared directory!

The best part? You are always in control. If you want to exchange contact info with someone inside the Space, you simply send a request. The other person has the absolute power to Accept or Decline the exchange. Total privacy, zero awkwardness, and maximum efficiency.

The Verdict? PBZ Bank is Officially Team Kumbuka! 

The energy in the room was incredible. The team at the People’s Bank of Zanzibar didn’t just applaud the tech; they put it to work immediately. By the time we were packing up our presentation slides, PBZ staff were already using the app to manage their connections in real time.
